Tommy Wright scored twice as Darlington swept aside Stockport to maintain their unbeaten home record and move up to second spot in League Two.
A mistake by County keeper Conrad Logan allowed Wright to sneak in and walk the ball into an empty net for the opener.
And Julian Joachim doubled the lead, flicking in a cross from Steve Foster.
Gregg Blundell fired in the third from the edge of the box after 79 minutes and Wright's stooping header from Johann Smith's centre made it 4-0.
