Wycombe Wanderers have re-signed Queens Park Rangers midfielder Tommy Doherty on loan until 2 January with a view to a permanent move.
The 28-year-old spent much of last season on loan at Adams Park, making 31 league and cup appearances, and was voted as Wycombe's player of the year.
"I'm sure our fans will be absolutely delighted about this signing," boss Paul Lambert told Wycombe's website.
"I've been trying to get him for ages - he'll be worth the wait."

Doherty, who has not played for QPR's first team since November 2005, won nine caps for Northern Ireland before announcing his retirement from international football - also in 2005.
His return to Wycombe had been delayed after he was struck down with appendicitis.
"It will take another month of training and reserve games before he's up to strength," Lambert warned.
"But we've waited this long to get him, so another month won't matter."
